We are delighted to team up with iSpeak Football from London to deliver a new project for refugees in Brighton and Hove, that combines ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and football.

The sessions will start on September 20th at BHASVIC sixth form college in Brighton & Hove, running for 12 weeks and featuring a combination of ESOL in the classroom and football in the sports hall, with the class-based activity featuring football-influenced content. BHASVIC is aiming to become a sanctuary school and kindly let us have the facilities for free.

The details of the project are below:

English (ESOL) classes AND football sessions together. For people aged 16 + with the language classes focusing on football. There will be people with different levels of English within the class, all abilities are welcome (although we do have to cap the numbers for the classroom capacity – places issued on a first come first served basis).
