We’re delighted to announce the inaugural VYD Challenge Cup, a six-a-side football tournament for businesses from Sussex, in partnership with County Business Clubs.
The tournament will take place on the University of Brighton’s 3G pitch from 5.30-9.30pm on Monday, July 12th 2021. Entry is a donation per team, with three levels at £50 – £100 – £150. All proceeds will go towards helping VYD to deliver our innovative, football based projects in areas of deprivation across Sussex – for free.
Prepare to do (friendly) battle with other local businesses and grab the bragging rights and the prestige of being the first winners of a tournament we’re looking to run at least twice a year.
Squads of up to 8 players will be allowed and a lovely shiny trophy and medals go to the winning team, which will be presented on the night. We’re anticipating 4 groups of 5 teams then semi-finals and a final and, possibly, a follow up networking event at Plus X in Brighton in the near future too – TBC.
